Dental aesthetics and whitening
Whitening, veneers and aesthetic fillings, after a check confirms the teeth are healthy.
Whitening lightens staining built up over time from coffee, tea, smoking or simply age. A single tooth that has darkened after root canal treatment can be whitened on its own.
Veneers are thin layers placed over the front surface of a tooth to change its shape or its colour. Cosmetic treatment is only carried out once the teeth and gums have been confirmed healthy. Artificial materials such as fillings and crowns do not change colour, so this is planned for in advance.

The teeth and gums are confirmed healthy enough for cosmetic treatment.
Cleaning
It is usually preceded by a cleaning, so the treatment works on a clean surface.
The treatment
Whitening is carried out with the gums protected, or the veneer is made and fitted.
